1703 3 over 2 Queen Anne VIGO Shilling - A NEW UNPUBLISHED DISCOVERY

Anne (1702-14), Shilling, 1703, VIGO. below second draped bust left, rev. Crowned cruciform Pre-Union shields,  ( S.3586; Bull -; ESC -).

A really Good Extremely Fine and a wonderfully preserved shilling of the famous The VIGO coinage, which also happens to have an incredible die variation previously unrecorded. The reverse die illustrates the date clearly overstruck with the reminance of the 2 underneath the newly punched 3 visible. This NEW exciting die discovery currently unrecorded in any publication and of the highest of importance being the first known !
