Charles I (1625 - 49) Oxford Mint (1642 - 46), 1644, Halfcrown, Oxford mint, late Briot style horseman left with rocky groundline below ‘Oxford plume behind, rocky mm. plume/-, rev. declaration in two lines, large central Oxford plume, with 2 smaller either side, above, date flanked by lozenges and OX below, pellets either side (S.2965; Bull 613E) weight 14.53 grams
Very fine the reverse better but aa superb example.
