Charles I (1625-1649), Tower Mint under the King (1625 - 42)  Group III, Type 3a², Halfcrown, third horseman King trotting left, sword upright, rev. oval garnished shield, m.m. triangle (S. 2775; N.2211; Bull - ; Hawkins 3a²; Francis 3c; Brooker 348-351;  ) weight 14.91 grams

Struck on an irregular flan but of good weight, with an old tray tone with hints of lustre. Nearly Very Fine. An interesting obverse legend error where an extra L has been engraved in CAROL(L)VS, this something not represented in Bull.
