Charles I (1625 - 49) Tower mint under parliament (1642 - 49) Crown, type IV, armoured King on horseback left with raised sword and flowing sash, mm eye both sides (1645), rev. oval quartered shield of arms, (S.2761; N.2198; Brooker 271; FRC XXIII/XXXIV).
Attractively toned, some light marks in the fields but well struck for a Parliamentary issue, better than very fine and very rare this well preserved.
