1632-3 Charles I Tower Mint mm harp Unite

Charles I (1625 - 49), Tower Mint under the King (1625 - 42) Unite, mm. Harp (1632-3),  CAROLVS D;G; MAG; BR ; ET ; HI ; REX , Group D, bust 4, large bust with jewelled crown which breaks inner circle, Rev. FLORENT CONCORDIA REGNA Oval garnished shield with CR at sides (S.2691;N.2152; Schneider DI, No. 5; Brooker -) weight 9.07 grams  

A fully round and well struck specimen, which has been wonderfully preserved and appears much as it would have, when it was first struck some 387 years ago! The Kings portrait in particular finely engraved, overall a really Good Very Fine + with an excellent pedigree and a die variety not present in the renowned J.G.Brooker Collection.
