Struck centrally and in a virtually Extremely Fine grade state, this exceptional type 7 halfcrown is the finest known for its type. The slight striking flaw at 10 oclock on the obverse pales into insignificance when you study the incredible horseman and oval reverse shield surrounded by lion garniture. The light and subtle orange lustre really sets the coin off. 1 of 8 known with 2 residing in Museum collections.
