Provenance
Bought S R Porter 1981

The illustrated halfcrown in Bull of this extremely rare die pairing, with only 2 specimens recorded (this and the J M Ashby example).

Struck on a squarish shaped flan which in our opinion adds to this halfcrowns wonderful charm. Better than Very Fine with a handsome portrait and bold reverse
