Iron Age Britain, Atrebates and Regni, Uninscribed Coinage (c. 60-40 BC), 'Three Wheel' Type, AV Quarter-Stater, c. 50-35 BC, "Rudd's East Wiltshire Group" centred at Durocornovium [?], debased laureate head of Apollo right, rev. triple-tailed horse right, 'no mane' variety, wheel motif above and below, spike piercing neck ( Spink 48) weight - 1.27 grams

Struck on an irregular but large flan, otherwise on a rich golden tone, with lustre in fields. Very fine, very rare.
